Hello, and welcome to my website. My name is Stephen MacAllan, I have been working in alternative medicine since 1976, practicing (amongst other things) traditional acupuncture, herbal medicine and bio-electronic regulatory medicine. I also have experience of Neo-Reichian Bodywork and Humanistic Psychotherapy and I have studied related and not so related disciplines such as Homoeopathy, Past-life Regression and Rolfing.

In my own practice I explain that I expect that a patient will experience evidence of benefit from treatment within four treatments, and in actual practice many patients will experience some improvement within the first week. It is important to understand that your health is in your control. I cannot heal you - I can only help you to heal yourself.

I have many resources to draw on to help my patients:

• Acupuncture: a remedy practiced for over 5000 years which has helped millions of people and continues to amass numerous scientific studies showing benefit for a wide variety of health complaints.
• Herbal medicine: also with a huge history of use by many peoples for hundreds of years.
• Vegatesting: a recent medical device, which combines the principles of acupuncture and homoeopathy with modern electronics to produce a marvellous aid to diagnosis.
• Kosmed: also a recent medical device with an excellent pedigree including extensive use by Russian Doctors for many years.

If these therapies are inadequate then I have many colleagues skilled in other disciplines who can help (you may have problems that will respond well to other forms of treatment such as osteopathy, hypnotherapy, aromatherapy etc.)
